Tokyo – Bridgestone Corporation’s subsidiary in China, Bridgestone (Shenyang) Tire Co., Ltd. will build a new manufacturing facility as part of its relocation to the Shenyang Chemical Industry Park.
Total investment is US$299.7m (approximately Euro 227m; ¥24.5 billion) for the plant and production equipment. Production of an expected 5,000 tires per day is scheduled to begin in 2014.
