Pirelli UK extends 'Investors in People' accreditation

Burton upon Trent, UK – Pirelli UK has retained its accreditation as an Investor in People (IIP) for a further three years after the Italian tire firm passed a series of assessment interviews at its Burton upon Trent and Carlisle offices.
Formed in 1991, Investors in People specialises in “transforming business performance through people”. It aims to help companies to achieve the results they want by focusing all their work on business objectives.
Run by the UK Commission for Employment and Skills, Investors in People provides independent interview-based assessments to track a company’s progress.
In total, 59 members of staff were interviewed.
Initiatives within the company such as a training academy and e-learning platform were adduced to illustrate Pirelli’s ongoing commitment to developing and upskilling its UK workforce.
