New York – Pirelli & C. SpA has named Marco Crola CEO for the company's NAFTA region, succeeding Pierluigi Dinelli, who left the company recently to pursue personal interests.

A 13-year Pirelli company veteran, Crola recently was senior vice president of global OE and prestige business, based in Pirelli's Milan headquarters.

As CEO of NAFTA, Crola will be responsible for the car and motorcycle businesses, as well as factories in Rome, Georgia, and Silao, Guanajuato, Mexico. He'll be based at Pirelli's corporate office in New York.

Crola will focus on strengthening Pirelli's OE and prestige assets in the NAFTA area and continuing the company's growth in this region of the last few years.

Prior to joining Pirelli, Crola held senior leadership positions at General Electric Group and at Fiat Group. He graduated with a doctorate in Industrial Chemistry from Milan University.

Dinelli was promoted to chairman and CEO of Pirelli's NAFTA region in 1 Jan 2015, succeeding Paolo Ferrari, who was being promoted to CEO of Pirelli Latin America.
