Kumho taps ex-Nexen boss for European president
Frankfurt, Germany – Kumho Tire has appointed former Nexen Tire America’s CEO Changrin Suk as its new European president.
The 59-year-old Suk took over the office at the beginning of the year, the Korean tire-maker announced 25 Jan.
He succeeds Charles Kim, who had held the company’s top role in Europe since March 2015.
Suk worked for 20 years in senior roles at Samsung Electronics before becoming CEO of Nexen Tire America.
Commenting on his new appointment, Suk said his mission was “to make Kumho successful in Europe."
Customer satisfaction would be at the heart of his strategy to drive a stable and profitable business, Suk added.
