Milan, Italy – Italian exports of plastics and rubber machinery, equipment and moulds grew by 13% in January-May, compared to the same period of 2016, official ISTAT data shows
The first five months of the year, meanwhile, saw 14% year-on-year growth in imports of this equipment, according to the trade statistics, reported 5 Sept by Amaplast.
The export sales, which represent around 70% of national production, included rises of 10% for injection moulding presses, 21% for extruders and 16% for moulds.
Until recently known as Assocomaplast, Amaplast represents about 165 Italian plastics and rubber machinery, ancillary equipment and mould manufacturers.
