Orion board changes as directors resign
Luxembourg – Claus von Hermann and Andrew Sweet resigned as directors of Orion Engineered Carbons SA, the company announced 28 June.
The resignations reflect the reduced shareholdings of Kinove Luxembourg Holdings 1 Sarl in Orion, the carbon black major explained.
The share move followed a secondary offering of Orion shares into the public market, which was carried out at the end of March.
In its announcement, Orion thanked the departing directors for their contributions and service on the board since its foundation in 2014.
On 29 June, the company’s board of directors appointed Marc Faber as a director of the company to fill one of the vacancies.
