Cologne, Germany – The world’s 10 largest tire makers will all take part in the new Tire Cologne trade show, organisers Koelnmesse GmbH announced 9 May.
The announcement follows confirmation from Hankook, that it will join an exhibitors list already including Bridgestone, Michelin, Goodyear, Continental, Pirelli, Sumitomo/Falken, Yokohama, Maxxis and Giti.
Additionally, Cooper Tire, ranked 12 in ERJ’s 2016 global ranking of tire producers, as well as other well-known brands including Zhongce Rubber, Toyo Tires, Kumho, Triangle, MRF, Apollo, Nokian and Nexen Tire are among the exhibitors
The event, to be held 29 May - 1 June 2018 in Cologne, aims to replace Reifen as the main German expo for the tire trade industry.
"We are pleased that Hankook has also decided in favour of participation. A wonderful signal. This means that the top ten tire manufacturers are represented in their entirety at Tire Cologne,” announced Christoph Werner, vice president of Koelnmesse.
In addition to tire manufacturers, wholesalers and rim manufacturers as well as automotive service suppliers will take part in the event.
