Maastricht, The Netherlands – Arlanxeo has announced price rises for its ethylene propylene diene monomer (EPDM) rubber grades sold under Keltan brand.

In Europe, Middle East and Africa, a price rise of up to €150 per tonne has been put into effect as of 16 March.

In Latin America, the product price will increase up to $150 per tonne, effective 1 April. In NAFTA, the rise will also be effective 1 April and be up to $150 per tonne.

The measure, said Arlanxeo, is the result of the overall market and cost developments of recent months.

The Lanxess-Saudi Aramco rubber JV raised prices for the same products in February citing the same reasons.
