Ulvila, Finland – Automation machinery manufacturer Cimcorp has announced three senior appointments to the group’s management team as well as plans to recruit further in the wake of growing demand.
In a 21 March statement, the Finnish company announced that Tero Peltomäki has been appointed vice president (VP) of business development, with a focus on product development and developing co-operation at corporate level. Marjo Rimpelä has been appointed as VP of finance & administration, while Rick Trigatti continues as North America president of Cimcorp.
“The changes have been made in response to our extensive growth and to ensure that all client expectations are met,” said Masatoshi Wakabayashi, CEO, Cimcorp.
Cimcorp is working on a number of diverse automation projects, according to Wakabayashi, adding that the company has “a full schedule of new client implementations” for which it is recruiting all the time.
The company’s sales operation will now be headed up by Kai Tuomisaari, as VP of sales, responsible for developing the international sales network and managing company-wide sales operations.
Cimcorp is also looking to expand sales activities in its target markets, including tire manufacturing and distribution.
The software department will be led by Pasi Kankaanpää, director of software, with Sakari Mikkola responsible for software development in the technology development department.
Cimcorp’s revenue rose significantly in 2016 by 35%, the machinery supplier said, adding that 2017 is expected be “a year of continued growth and a promising outlook.”
