Putnam, Connecticut – Medical and pharmaceutical distributed Foster Corp. has been appointed the exclusive distributor of Wacker Silpuran medical-grade silicone rubbers for the North American healthcare markets.

From 1 March, Foster will provide sales, technical and order-fulfilment support to customers from its regional stocking facilities in Nevada and Connecticut.

The materials include Silpuran liquid silicone rubber and high consistency rubber products. These are biocompatible, sterilisation resistant and are available in a range of hardnesses for use in applications such as drainage and feeding tubes, urinary catheters, syringe seals, and respiratory masks.

Larry Johnson, executive vice president at Foster Corp., said customers for Wacker silicone rubber products would benefit from “enhanced delivery times, flexible order sizes, and regulatory support.”
