Seoul – LG Chem is to build a new elastomer plant with a production capacity of 200 kilotonnes per annum by 2018, according to a BusinessKorea report.
The company is investing about 400 billion won (€$326 million) in the project located at Daesan Plant in South Chungcheong Province, said the online media service.
LG Chem lists its products portfolio as including butadience rubber, styrene-butadience rubber and nitrile rubber materials.
