London – Reports from Baku, Azerbaijan are suggesting that there are safety concerns about the new circuit in Baku after a series of cuts to tires caused by kerbs.
According to the BBC5 Live’s F1 reporter Jennie Gow, “most teams have reported cuts on rear left tires” after Friday’s first practice.
The Baku kerbs, Gow said, are made of metal whereas they are normally made of rubber.
