Essen, Germany – Organisers of the German tire show Reifen have said that they expect a turnout of 20,000 visitors from 130 nations at the show which is to be held 24-27 May in Essen.
Essen will become the “capital of the international tire sector,” said the organisers in a press release, adding that they expected 20 of the largest tire makers in the world to exhibit at the show.
In addition to that, major players in wheel rim manufacturers, garage equipment suppliers, retreaders and dealers are set to bring their latest technologies and developments to the show.
“All in all, the interest of the exhibitors has risen considerably,” the statement said.
According to Reifen, popularity among tire manufacturers was so high that for the first time, two halls with 22,000 square metres in total – equivalent to a third of the entire exhibition area – were allocated to them.
The international demand, it added, is growing noticeably, with 75 percent of the exhibitors expected to travel to Essen from abroad.
