Marangoni pursues growth in UAE

Rovereto, Italy – Marangoni Industrial Tires has appointed an exclusive distributor for its brand of industrial tires in Dubai in a bid to push forward its growth strategy in the United Arab Emirates.

The move, said Marangoni, follows an investment in a 300-tonne purpose-built tire press and high levels of sales for its Forza industrial tire,

The Italian manufactureris aiming to move into new markets and expand its brands outside of Europe.

Al Shirawi now has a “dedicated marketing team” in place to push the brand to the first choice for industrial tires in the region’s forklift truck tire replacement market, said the press release.

Marangoni’s factories in Italy and Sri Lanka produce over 450,000 industrial tire brands of Forza and Eltor per year.

Marangoni is the OEM supplier to Toyota and has tire approval in the forklift truck industry with the Kion Group, which represent Still & Linde forklift trucks, along with Jungheinrich forklift trucks.
