Hose maker Tristone investing in India

Frankfurt, Germany – Rubber hose and fluid-system parts maker Tristone Flowtech Group is setting up a sales and engineering company in Pune, India.

The project was highlighted in a Tristone results statement for first half-year 2015, which showed a sales growth of 14 percent to €116.4 million compared to the same period the previous year.

The group said it is expecting a similar sales growth leading to €230 million for the full year 2015.

The group also said that it was expecting a further significant sales growth in 2016, driven by the growth in the European business with a year-on-year growth of 8.1 percent and a higher growth outside Europe of 78.2 percent.

The growth, according to the statement, has been mainly due to higher sales of products from the company’s plants in China and Mexico.

A significant contribution was from“the serial production of new products … reducing weight and costs in the area of cooling of combustion engines and battery systems in combustion engines driven passenger cars as well as hybrid and electrical cars,” said Froelich.
