Guangdong, China - Over-expansion in the backdrop of China's economic slowdown, tightened environmental regulation, overseas tariffs and new domestic tax policies are among the challenges haunting the country's rubber industry.
Those issues, as well as the market's other latest developments and forecasts, will be addressed at China Rubber Industry Association's ninth annual China Rubber Conference at Guangzhou's Baiyun International Convention Center on 7-10 April 2015.
There will be a special session dedicated to foreign trade frictions on tires, covering a review on the US tariffs on Chinese tires as well as Chinese tire makers' possible strategies in anti-dumping investigations by the EU and Asian, African and Latin American countries.
A concurrent event, China Rubber Expo, will be held at the same centre with 130 exhibitors from over 10 countries.
