Munich – Wacker Chemie AG has issued its Q4 2014 and its annual results, reporting a 53-percent year-on-year increase in its annual earnings.
Stating that the end-of-year results “surpassed its own sales and earnings expectations”, Wacker said that its sales rose by 8 percent to €4.83 billion in 2014 thanks to “higher volumes and prices”.
Also, the company’s earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) stood at €1.04 billion against the €679 million in 2013.
Wacker said its full-year EBIT of €443 million almost quadrupled, with net income for the year at €195 million.
The group also closed the fourth quarter of 2014 with substantial growth in sales and earnings.
