Yokohama reshuffles executive roles

Tokyo —Yokohama Rubber Co. Ltd has changed the roles of a number of executives, promoting Hideto Katsuragawa to president of its tire business unit as of 1 Jan.

Katsuragawa will retain his previous duties as a director and managing corporate officer. He takes over the tire business from YRC president Hikomitsu Noji, who has been president of YRC since April 2011 and president of the tire business since June 2010.

Yokohama also named Yuji Goto as a director and senior managing corporate officer, president of Kameyama Bead Co. Ltd, a tire bead production subsidiary. He continues as chief tire production officer, head of tire production division and head of the Hiratsuka tire factory.
