ERJ Staff Report (TP)
Cologne, Germany - Ichimaru-Giken’s Director & Vice President, Hironobu Ichimaru, told ERJ yesterday at the Tire Technology Expo 2014 that it is looking to work with European companies for future growth.
Ichimaru said: "Our plans for 2014 include more collaboration with other companies. European countries in particular.
"About 10-20 years ago companies would only need to sell in Japan, but right now people want things speedier and at a low costs - this is difficult from Japan."
The firm also has new ideas for the industry with its "automation for curing process". Ichimaru believes this will be a "keyword in the near future" as existing tire factories are very dirty and hot. The firm want to change this existing situation with better technology for a cleaner and cooler factory.
