MESNAC and emFrontier sign Strategic Cooperation Agreement

Qingdao, China − MESNAC signed a ‘Strategic Cooperation Agreement’ with emFrontier, a subsidiary of Hankook, on 20 December.
The two parties will work together in the fields of IT solutions, factory automation and logistics automation.
Zheng Jiangjia, Executive Vice President of MESNAC, said they will first work on IT solutions. emFrontier offers SCM (supply chain management) and MES (manufacturing execution systems) package solutions; and MESNAC is the first professional supplier in conducting MES R&D and applications in the Chinese rubber and tire industry.
The partnership is intended “to further strengthen their competitiveness and provide more services to their global clients”.
Founded in 2000, emFrontier is the IT subsidiary of Hankook Tire. It specialises in the R&D of SCM and MES systems that incorporate management in warehouses, distribution logistics, comprehensive manufacturing and special machinery.
MESNAC is the world’s second largest producer of equipment for the rubber and tire industry, and was founded at Qingdao University of Science and Technology.
