DESMA to highlight moulding control refinement and training at K 2013
ERJ staff report (BC)
Fridingen, Germany – Elastomer injection moulding technology specialist DESMA will highlight its new FlowControl-PressureSense (FCPS) system at the K 2013 show, with a demonstration on a vertical injection moulding machine.
FCPS detects the optimal internal cavity pressure and proportionally activates each valve in DESMA’s FlowControl cold runner system. With this system, says the company, a moulder can maximise the fill and packing characteristics of a multiple-cavity mould. Batch-to-batch variations can therefore be minimised even when tight manufacturing tolerances are required.
In the customer service domain, DESMA has launched an E-Training scheme for elastomer injection moulding, to enable customers’ employees to be trained on a convenient schedule while increasing their competence and adding value to the organisation.
DESMA will also present to K 2013 visitors its newly published handbook "Basics of Injection Molding of Elastomers".
DESMA will be at Hall 16, stand F56 at K 2013, Düsseldorf.
