Lanxess launches NdPBR rubbers for easy tire processing

Cologne, Germany – Synthetic rubber producer Lanxess has announced two NdPBR rubber grades designed to facilitate the production of fuel-efficient tires, among other products. The company cites the following advantages for Buna Nd 22 EZ and Buna Nd 24 EZ:
· High molar mass through narrow polydispersity
· Low Mooney viscosity
· Long chain branching to accelerate incorporation of fillers into the rubber matrix
· Chemical modification of chains to enhance rubber/filler interaction.
