ERJ staff report (BC)
Birmingham, UK – Dunlop developed the tires for the Opel Monza concept car unveiled at the 65th IAA (Frankfurt) motor show.
Work on the size 245/35 R 21 concept tire began early this year.
Helmut Fehl from Dunlop’s advanced design and development centre in Hanau, Germany, said: “Dunlop and Opel design teams worked on the design and development of the tire to ensure the tread matched the sleek shape of the car perfectly. Every detail of the tire was discussed, designed and evaluated to meet the highest standards and expectations of the Opel team."
