Hankook chosen as OE supplier for Mercedes S-class

Neu-Isenberg, Germany – Tire maker Hankook has been chosen by Daimler as the original equipment supplier for the new Mercedes-Benz S-class luxury sedan.
The car will initially be fitted with Hankook Ventus Prime² tires in size 245/55 R 17 102 W.
"The Mercedes-Benz S-Class is recognised as one of the finest luxury cars in the world," commented Jin-Wook Choi, Hankook Tire President and COO for Europe. "We are delighted that with the Hankook Ventus Prime² we have developed a tire for Daimler AG that meets all aspects of our customer’s exacting requirements for their new Mercedes-Benz S-Class."
The tires for the new S-class are currently being produced at Hankook’s main factory for ultra-high-performance tires in Geumsan, South Korea.
