Blackcircles opens Tesco tire centre
ERJ staff report (BC)
Peebles, UK – Online tire fitting service Blackcircles.com has unveiled the first of its “Click & Fit” bays at a Tesco store in Bletchley, Buckinghamshire in the south of England, reports The Scotsman.
Blackcircles founding managing director Mike Welch is reported as describing the Tesco partnership as a “gamechanger” for his company, which has seen its half-year profits double on revenue up from £10.5m (€12.2m) to £13.6m (€15.8m).
It is expecting full-year revenue in excess of £35m (€40.7m) against £23.2m (€27.0m) last year as the second half is normally busier and is likely to be boosted by additional income from the Tesco deal.
