New heat-resistant elastomer feed roller from Automatik

Oberglatt, Swizerland – Automatik Plastic Machinery has developed an elastomer feed roller designed to meet high abrasion and thermal loading demands.

The EL 24 roller is claimed to deal with thermal loads up to 170°C and to offer better frictional resistance and compression behaviour than previous elastomer feed rollers. The EL24 is silicon-free, with a view to semiconductor applications.
