    ERJ staff report (BC)

Middlebury, Connecticut, USA – Speciality additive supplier Addivant USA will host a technical seminar at the Chinaplas trade show on 21 May.

Dr Jiong Yu, the company’s technical support manager, will present “Case Studies of Developing Value-Added and Differentiated Products” featuring Polybond polymer modifier solutions, Weston 705 phosphite for elastomers, and Lowinox CA22 non-migratory antiozonant for tire and other rubber product applications.

Polybond formulations act as coupling agents or compatibilisers in recipes where high renewable content is preferred, says Addivant. They do not use petroleum-based feedstocks and are claimed to contain more than 95% renewable content.

Chinaplas 2013 is being held from 20-23 May at the China Import & Export Fair Complex, Pazhou, Guangzhou, China. Addivant is at Stand M25 in Hall 11.2.
