Goodyear to open new headquarters in May

Akron, Ohio – Goodyear officially will open its new global headquarters in Akron on 9 May.
The company is planning a ribbon-cutting ceremony that day. It said it expects representatives from the Ohio state government, city of Akron and Summit County, local members of Congress and officials of Industrial Realty Group to attend the event.
Richard Kramer, Goodyear chairman and CEO, will speak at the ceremony, as will Ohio Lieutenant Governor Mary Taylor and Akron Mayor Don Plusquellic.
The new centre is home to 3000 Goodyear employees.
