Blair Rubber launches online spec tools for rubber lining
ERJ staff report (BC)
Seville, Ohio – Blair Rubber Co has revised its website with new tools to assist applicators, specifiers and end users of rubber linings.
The website features a revamped engineering manual and video tutorials are now available on-line. Specification sheets, installation guidelines and material safety data sheet (MSDS) documents are available.
Last year, Blair launched an app for the web, iPhone and Android providing a chemical resistance slide rule guide to determine the right lining for a specific chemical application.
Nalex Cordova, director of sales and marketing, said: “Blair Rubber products are installed in harsh environments, such as nuclear and chemical processing/transportation, where corrosion protection is a key to safety. Correct specification and installation of linings are critical to their durability and performance. We needed to make our engineering manual, MSDS documents and chemical resistance tables easy to use and accessible to installers worldwide”.
