NR prices mixed in Tuesday's trading

London - Rubber prices were mixed during Tuesday's trading. On Tokyo's Tocom Exchange, prices for the six-month contract rose by 1 to trade around yen 259 ($3.15) on Tuesday 27 November. Shorter-dated prices also rose slightly, to trade around yen 247 (from 246).

In Singapore, the May 2013 TSR20 contract on SGX closed was trading level at just under $2.86 in late trading on Tuesday evening; December 2012 prices were also unchanged at $2.80 (from $2.80).

In India, NMCE said December prices rose by a rupee to close just below Rs 177 ($3.18). January prices closed at Rs 179 (from 181).

In China the Shanghai Futures Exchange contract for the January 2013 closed down by a quarter of a yuan at Yuan 24.0 ($3.85) per kilo on Tuesday. Prices for March 2013 were also down to close at yuan 24.2 (from 24.5).
