Vianor and Wissol Group to start co-operation in Georgia
ERJ staff report (LMH)
Nokia, Finland -- Nokian Tyres plc has signed a co-operation agreement with the conglomerate Wissol Group concerning the expansion of the Vianor retail chain in Georgia. With this agreement, Wissol Group's 15 existing "AutoExpress" retail outlets will be Vianor branded. In the future, the chain will also be further developed and expanded under the Vianor brand, Nokian said in a 15 Nov news release.
Wissol Group has been developing its AutoExpress chain since 2010. With Vianor, the goal is to expand and develop the chain aggressively. Operating under the Vianor brand, the retail outlets will especially focus on the sale of premium Nokian tyres, as well as high-quality car services.
“Wissol Group is one of the largest, most successful companies on the Georgian market. The varying climate, from the mountains all the way to the Black Sea coast, creates challenging conditions, and Nokian Tyres and Vianor are the experts in this field. Georgia is an interesting, strongly growing market,†commented Olli Nuutila, Business Manager, Nokian Tyres.
