US Consumer group looks at tyre pricing

New York - US non-profit group, Consumer Reports has published a guide to tyre selling price in the United States. The group recently carried out a comprehensive tyre test, but now has outlined the way it buys tyres and what it has learned about prices of tyres in the US.
In one example, the reporter studied the cost of buying and fitting four tyres (Michelin Defender, size 215/60R16). The price varied from $568 to $708.
