London - Rubber prices recovered somewhat overnight. On Tokyo's Tocom Exchange, prices for the six-month contract closed up 2 at just below yen 248 ($3.09) on Tuesday 06 November. Shorter-dated prices also rose fractionally to closed at yen 238 (from 237).
In Singapore, the April 2013 TSR20 contract on SGX was trading up 2 cents at $2.82 a few minutes before the close on Tuesday evening; December 2012 prices were trading unchanged at around at $2.77.
In India, NMCE said November prices closed down 2 at just over Rs 174 ($3.24). December prices closed down 3 at Rs 176.
In China the Shanghai Futures Exchange contract for November recovered slightly to close up 2 at Yuan 23.4 ($3.75) per kilo on Tuesday. Prices for January 2013 were uchanged to close at yuan 24.0.
