London - Rubber prices eased slightly over the weekend. On Tokyo's Tocom Exchange, prices for the six-month contract were trading unchanged at just above yen 255 ($3.19) in late trading on Monday 22 October. Shorter-dated prices fell by a yen to trade around yen 246.
In Singapore, the April 2013 TSR20 contract on SGX was trading down by 2 cents at $2.89 in late trading on Monday evening; November 2012 prices were 5 cents lower at $2.83.
In India, NMCE said November prices closed down by 5 rupees at Rs 179 ($3.34). December prices also eased to close just above Rs 180.
In China the Shanghai Futures Exchange contract for November fell by slightly to close just below Yuan 24.2 ($3.87) per kilo on Monday. Prices for January 2013 also fell by 0.1 to yuan 24.8.
