Huber raises prices for silica globally
ERJ staff report (DS)
Atlanta, Georgia -- Huber Engineered Materials has announced a global price increase for its precipitated silicas and silicates, effective from 30 October 2012, or as current contracts allow.
The price adjustment of up to seven percent is dependent on geographic region. Huber said the increase has become necessary due to increasing costs in raw materials, energy, freight, labour and manufacturing.
