London - Rubber prices were trading well above $3/kg on Tuesday 18 September. On Tokyo's Tocom Exchange, prices for the six-month contract closed down 2 at yen 257 ($3.27) during the evening session on Tuesday. Shorter-dated prices were trading at yen 252 on Tuesday afternoon.
In Singapore, the March 2013 TSR20 contract on SGX was trading unchanged at around $2.94; October 2012 prices were trading down slightly at around $2.90 toward the end of the Tuesday evening session.
In India, NMCE said October prices closed just below Rs 194 ($3.59). November prices closed unchanged at Rs 193.
In China the Shanghai Futures Exchange contract for September closed slightly up at Yuan 23.3 ($3.68) per kilo on Tuesday. October prices also rose slightly to close at yuan 23.5.
