Management changes for Bridgestone Europe West

Brussels - Benoît Raulin was appointed West Region Managing Director at Bridgestone Europe. He replaces Eric Gaétan who takes over as Managing Director of the Consumer Business Unit of Bridgestone Europe, in Brussels. This change in management is effective from 3 Sept 2012.
Raulin joined Bridgestone Group's Financial Services in 1990 in Béthune. After 7 years with Bridgestone Germany managing Finance, he joined the Finance Division at Bridgestone Europe's Brussels Head Office before returning to France as Financial Director in the Sales Division.
In January 2006 he took over as Managing Director and subsequently returned once again to Bridgestone Germany also as Managing Director. In 2010 he went back to the European Head Office to take up the position of Vice-President Finance and Procurement.
Gaétan took over as Managing Director of Consumer Products at Bridgestone Europe from 3 September 2012. He is responsible for Passenger Car, 4x4, Van and Motorcycle products as well as Original Equipment and Replacement segments. He will establish guidelines and orientations for all Regions and Divisions in Europe.
Gaétan came to Bridgestone France in 1987. Having occupied a number of positions, both in France and at Bridgestone Europe Head Office, he managed until June 2007 the Bridgestone France Truck & Bus section. He subsequently became Managing Director of Carrier Transicold France, a subsidiary of UTC Group, specialising in refrigerated transport. In February 2009 he returned to Bridgestone France as Managing Director of Sales Division and, since January 2011, West Region Managing Director.
