Recreational rubber tube may cause chemical allergies

Washington DC - A US-based inner tube maker has issued a voluntary recall of some tubes designed for recreational use following 21 reports of consumers receiving severe skin irritation or burns while using the tubes. Seven people sought medical attention for their injuries.
The recalled tubes are made of grey rubber and measure 47 inches in diameter. Model number "1026192" can be found on the box along with UPC code 4939403118 and the words "Traveller Recreational Tube". Product number "11.00R22" can be found moulded into the tube itself.
The tubes are made by the US company Tractor Supply Co, but are not designed for use in real agricultural machiner, but can be used for floating on rivers and other recreational activities.
