Lanxess appeals against animal testing decision by ECHA
ERJ staff report (DS)
Helsinki, Finland - Lanxess Deutschland has appealed against a ruling by the ECHA over Lanxess' use of animals in the health tests on triphenyl phosphate (TPP). TPP is a flame retardant used in synthetic rubber and other materials.
The case involves procedures and registration and appears to suggest that the registration is not valid due to technical non-compliance. Lanxess is appealing against the decision.
