London - Rubber prices dipped sharply overnight. On Tokyo's Tocom Exchange, prices for the six-month contract were trading down 9 at yen 243 ($3.07) on Wednesday 18 July. Shorter-dated prices were a little lower, trading around yen 234 on Wednesday evening.
In Singapore, the January TSR20 contract on SGX was trading down 7 at $2.91; August prices were also lower, trading around $2.91 in evening trading on Wednesday.
In India, NMCE said August prices eased by a rupee to close at Rs 181 ($3.28). September prices closed at just under Rs 181.
In China the Shanghai Futures Exchange contract for August closed at Yuan 23.8 ($3.73) per kilo on Wednesday. September prices closed at yuan 23.9.
