ERJ staff report (DS)
Washington DC - The US-based International Trade Commission has set a date of 25 October 2013 to complete its investigation into a trade complaint over certain rubber resins and their manufacturing processes. The date was requested by ITC staff and by the complainant. The Respondent wanted two more months.
The complaint was initiated by SI Group on 26 June and alleges that Sino Legend (Zhangjiagang) Chemical Co. Ltd and its US representatives infringed its intellectual property. Sino Legend denies the allegations.
The complaint concerns phenolic resins used as tackifying resins in tyre manufacture.
