German hose maker signs tech deal with India

Frankfurt, Germany -- Hose maker Tristone Flowtech Group has signed a technical Assistance deal with an Indian company, Bony Polymers Pvt. Ltd. The deal will focus especially on engine cooling and turbocharger hoses.
The agreement, â€will be the basis to establish our manufacturing footprint in the Indian regionâ€, said Günter Frölich, President and CEO of Tristone Flowtec.
The objective is to further penetrate the Indian automotive market by working together on common projects. It is foreseen that Tristone Flowtec will provide technical support in the production and logistic areas of Engine cooling hoses, PA Pipes, Surge tanks and Turbocharger hose applications via the signed TAA and later a Joint Venture company in India.
Saket Bhatia, Director of Bony Polymers said: “We are happy to have agreed with Tristone Flowtech on a future working partnership with technical support. This association will help Bony to add value to its current product portfolio by offering complete solutions in the area of engine cooling and turbochargerâ€.
In addition to the Indian deal, Tristone Flowtec has in 2011 taken over a plant in Delicias/ Mexico to increase their presence in the NAFTA and Mercosur Market with a fully owned subsidiary delivering products initially to BMW, VW and Magna.
