Henniges adds EPDM profile capacity in Hranice

Hranice, Czech Republic - Henniges Automotive is in the proicess of expanding production caacity for EPDM-based automotive profiles in its plant in Hranice, Czech Republic.
Work on the new production hall began in April 2012, and the company expects to begin adding machines by September this year. The new hall will be used for making EPDM profiles mainly for the Skoda A7 model.
The new hall will have an area of 6770 m2 and be located behind the two existing halls.
Following the new A7 contract, Heenniges expects to invest around euro 7 million in 2012 and increase employment by 40 in 2012 and a further 130 as production ramps up in 2013.
The investment is expected to create at least 150 new jobs at the Hranice-based factory, according to the Czech news agency CTK.
