Brussels -- Goodyear Dunlop Tires Europe has appointed 11-year company veteran George Rietbergen vice president, commercial product business unit for Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA), also July 1.
Rietbergen previously was managing director of Goodyear Dunlop Tyres U.K. Ltd. Succeeding him in that role is Erich Fric, who will take over as managing director effective July 1.
Rietbergen joined Goodyear in 2001 at the company's EMEA headquarters in Belgium, where he served in roles developing the company's online business and retail strategies. In 2005, he became general manager for the Benelux cluster and then became managing director for the U.K and Ireland in 2010.
Fric has been with the company since 1994, when he joined as the general manager in Austria. In 2009 he relocated to Sweden and has since served as general manager for Goodyear's Nordic cluster.
