Weihai, China - Triangle Tyre Co has formed an alliance with a Chinese research institute to develop radial aircraft tyres for commercial airliners.
The agreement with Weihai, Harbin Institute of Technology will carry out specific research work in China in support of radial tyres for large-bodied commercial aircraft. The work will look at both tyre design and manufacturing processes.
The agreement was signed in a ceremony at Triangle on 5 May.
