London - Rubber prices recovered slightly from their recent slide. On Tokyo's Tocom Exchange, prices for the six-month contract were trading up 4 at yen 273 ($3.42) on Tuesday 15 May. Shorter-dated prices however, were trading down 2 at yen 257 on Tuesday evening.
In Singapore, the TSR20 contract on SGX was trading up 1 at $3.32 for November deliveries in late trading on Tuesday, while June deliveries were down by 2 cents at about $3.32 in trading during the evening session.
In India, NMCE said May deliveries closed down 1 at Rs 191 ($3.55). June prices were slightly higher at Rs 195
In China the Shanghai Futures Exchange contract for May closed down by a further half-yuan at Yuan 25.7 ($4.07) per kilo on Tuesday.
