ERJ staff report (LMH)
London -- Infinity Tyres has recently closed a deal with France's Groupe Massa, a family owned business specialising in the tyre and automotive maintenance sector.
Massa operates via several subsidiary companies, each focusing on specific activities such as retail, logistics, retreading and wholesale.
“[Infinity] greatly believes in the growth potential of the French market and this deal will ensure that both Massa and Infinity will find this new partnership to be mutually beneficial in all respects,†Jorge Crespo, European General Manager for Infinity Tyres in a 14 May news release.
Massa, which employs over 1000 people, has 115 outlets, a retreading plant, and two logistics platforms (one of which measures 34 000 sq.m).
As part of the new partnership deal for France, Infinity will be promoted and distributed through the Massa Pneus retail network in the Mediterranean and Rhône Alps region. Massa's distribution channels represent a total volume of 800 000 tyres and has over one million end-user customers registered, Infinity said.
