Japan's vehicle sales grew in 2011

Tokyo - Japan made more cars, trucks and buses in fiscal 2011 than in the previous year. In the 12 months to March 2012, Japan produced 7,911,073 passenger cars; 1,244,813 trucks, and 111,151 buses; all increases on the year-before figures.
The data comes from JAMA, the Japanese automotive Manufacturers' Association, which gives a full breakdown of the figures for the 12 months and for the month of March on its website (below).
