NR prices stabilise overnight

London - Rubber prices eased downwards over the weekend. On Tokyo's Tocom Exchange, prices for the six-month contract were trading up by about 3 yen at yen 307 ($3.78) on Tuesday 24 April. Shorter-dated prices were up on Monday's prices at yen 294 in late trading on Tuesday evening.

In Singapore, the TSR20 contract on SGX was trading roughly level at $3.61 for October deliveries in late trading on Tuesday, while May deliveries were down 3 at about $3.60 in trading during the evening session.

In India, NMCE said May deliveries closed down 5 at Rs 188 ($3.56).

In China the Shanghai Futures Exchange contract for May closed down by a fraction of a yuan at Yuan 28.0 ($4.44) per kilo on Tuesday.
