ERJ staff report (LMcH)
Orlando, Florida -- Dow Elastomers said it is well positioned for growth in the coming years, as it showcased its products at the NPE exhibition in Florida, held 2-5 April.
Dow said producers are enjoying better control and precision with fewer blemishes, defects and rejects when creating footwear, building profiles, and automotive parts with its Nordel IP Hydrocarbon Rubber.
"Dow Elastomers has developed a strategy to continue exceeding the needs of our customers by recognising and growing in markets with our existing and new elastomers offerings," said Kim Ann Mink, general manager, Dow Elastomers. "Through differentiating and diversifying its products and solutions portfolio while driving the innovation pipeline, Dow Elastomers is bringing new polymer offerings and tailored solutions to the marketplace."
The business recently opened a new world-scale specialty elastomers plant in Thailand to further meet and exceed customer demand in the growing elastomers market segments.
"With the new elastomers plant in Thailand, Dow Elastomers is meeting customer demand while continuing to be a dependable source of industry expertise in polymer processing and formulation science," said Mink. "The Thailand plant also demonstrates our constant investment and dedication to the global elastomers segment."
